Trying to save a new snippet in the SAS Programmer perspective of SAS Studio after clicking under Snippets on the navigation pane does not work. Clicking or opens the Add to My Snippets dialog box and you can enter a name. However, clicking the Save button at this point does nothing.

To circumvent the problem, do one of the following:

• Switch to the Visual Programmer perspective and use the icon.


• Create a new program, save it, and then make it a snippet. There are two ways to make a program a snippet:
  • Right-click the filename under the Folders tab and choose Add to My Snippets.
  • Click
